Privacy Notice

1. Overview

This Privacy Notice explains how Linkcore Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with the AICodePro product and website (the “Service”). We designed AICodePro to be privacy-respecting: the CLI runs locally by default, and API calls use keys you provide.

2. Data We Collect

Information You Provide

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide, for example when you:

  • Create an account or profile (email, name)
  • Contact support or request a refund
  • Subscribe to our newsletter
  • Submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests

Local Project Data & API Keys

The AICodePro CLI operates locally and reads files from your project directory to generate suggestions. Your local project files and API keys remain on your machine unless you explicitly upload or authorize sharing. We do not collect your code or API keys by default.

Usage & Diagnostic Data

With your consent, we may collect anonymized usage telemetry to improve the Service. This may include:

  • Command usage frequency (which CLI commands are used)
  • Error logs and crash reports (stack traces, runtime errors)
  • General performance metrics (latency, request counts)

We aggregate telemetry where possible and do not store personally identifying data in telemetry unless you explicitly opt in (e.g., to help debug a support issue).

3. How We Use Data

  • To provide and operate the Service (execute commands, produce suggestions).
  • To respond to support requests, bug reports, and refund inquiries.
  • To improve the product via aggregated analytics and A/B testing.
  • To send transactional emails (purchase receipts, billing notices, important updates).

4. Third-Party Services & Processors

AICodePro integrates with third-party AI providers and other services (for example: OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Paddle for payments, analytics providers, and error-reporting services). These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Where relevant, we act as a controller and these providers act as processors.

Important: API requests sent to external AI providers are routed from your environment when you use your own API keys. If we proxy or host API requests on your behalf (hosted offerings), those requests will be processed by the selected provider and billed accordingly.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, or as required by law. Typical retention examples:

  • Account information: retained while your account is active and for up to 3 years after account deletion for auditing and fraud prevention.
  • Support tickets: retained for 1–3 years depending on the nature of the request.
  • Aggregated analytics: retained in anonymized form for product improvement indefinitely.

6. Security

We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. These include access controls, encrypted storage for sensitive data we store, and secure transport (HTTPS/TLS). However, no system is completely secure — you should not transmit highly sensitive data via the CLI unless you understand the implications.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@aicodepro.dev.

If you are an EU resident, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies & Web Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, session management, and marketing. You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Detailed cookie behavior is documented in our cookie policy (if available) or by contacting privacy@aicodepro.dev.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided us personal data, contact privacy@aicodepro.dev and we will take steps to delete the information.

10. International Transfers

We may transfer and store data in countries outside your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, privacy notices) are in place.

11. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the “Last updated” date and, if required, sending you an email.
